Ciocc 411?
http://www.bikeforums.net/attachment...chmentid=14778
...from an earlier thread. Anyone know the particulars on this frame, i.e. year(s) made, etc. I've looked everywhere, and can't seem to turn up any info on 'Enemy's'... Thanks in advance. Peace. |
All I know is that I wanted that the first time I saw it.

i know that you'll see a ciocc track on ebay maybe once every 3 months...and they don't go cheap.
|
...had been looking and looking and FINALLY managed to track one down NOS some months back. since that time, i've been digging and compiling components for it and just yesterday i built it up! getting it on the road (and soon the track) was the fulfillment of my dreams. i rode it in s.f. yesterday, nyc today and tomorrow, as soon as i unpack it you can bet it'll be cruising in amsterdam, where i live...
i'm DYING to find out production/other relavent info on it. my frame has 52D227 stamped on the b/b if that helps place things any better... i've contacted Ciocc directly a while back but have yet to hear anything --'business at the speed of domani' in action, perhaps? i'm hoping someone can drop science on this... |
It seems like a early 90s. My old Ciocc (I regret selling it now) was mid 80s and most of the ones I seen then had flat fork crowns. The photo looks like a 90s frame.
S/F, CEYA! |
