Has anyone here ordered or communicated with Pelizzoli? I'm trying to see if they'll do a custom frame. If anyone has ordered a frame, how did the process go?

some tastiness

looks like they're interested in doing it! I might get my dream frame in 60 long days.

My favorite frame has been the Cannondale track for a long time. Love the looks, love the twitchiness, love the stiffness. Finding one in 63cm is hard and most have lived hard lives. I've had a Cannondale 3.0 crit bike break in the stand, I don't want to shell out $800 for a ragged-on aluminum frame. I've also moved to an area with hills, mountains and such. My track bikes spend a lot of time hanging.

I'm going to have Pelizzoli build a 63cm Leggenda, copying Cannondale's geometry, with a steel track fork, but with derailleur hangers, housing stops, and brake mounts. Also with modern 130mm spacing. And it must be blue. Throw on some 90's Record and Shamal tubulars and away we go. It should be silly but at least unique.

I dont know. But the leggenda is one of the most beautiful frames I've ever seen.

So much class...

Got it! I was reading you to say that the crackendale track was the model.

It is. But make that into a road frame and you essentially had the Criterium 3.0/2.8

My Pel will be a little shorter and steeper than that, though.

I ordered a Corsa GP frame from them last year. It took a little longer than I thought it would, a little over 3 months, but the wait was more than worth it. Mine wasn't a custom job though, pretty much their standard sizing (54 cm), though they did add a pump peg and a threadless steerer to accomodate a threadless headset. Alessandro was great throughout the process, responding quickly to my e-mails and explaining everything about the payment process (I had never ordered something like that from overseas, having to convert dollars to euros, dealing with wiring the money over, etc.). I've been riding my Pelizzoli since last October and I absolutely love it! It's a beautiful bike and such a plush, comfortable ride. I hope you're happy with yours once you get it.

Here's a pic of the Corsa GP, same color scheme as mine:
