I don't think I'd go for it myself. Presumably it would be less noticable on a 53 than a 42, since they're closer to round but still...

I've never noticed anything bad with biospace. Maybe i'm just so used to it by now

As for the biopace, I tried the tiny 29t? ring out with a 14t cog - fixed. Was a little odd, but kinda fun in a hill climbing and killing off inventory of worn 27" tires by skidding sort of way.
