New tire help
Hey all, in need of a pair of new tires. Currently I'm riding Vittoria Randonneur 28c in the rear and a Armadillo 23c up front. The tires I bought about two years ago and have been awesome. Never got a flat on the Vittoria, the Armadillo I got like 3 to 4. I was considering getting two sets of Randonneurs at 25c or two sets of Zaffiro Pro II at 25c. Wanted to all of you guys take on it. I live in new york city and commute on the roads here but also do my training in Central park and Long Island NY. All help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks |
I've got a 28c Rando/rear and a 23c Diamante Pro/front on my Dodici and am really happy with that combo. If you don't want to keep it a little more cost effective, go with a Rando/Zaffiro.

New tire help
Just wondering scrod; what's the PSI you have on your rear rando?

I typically keep it around 110 for maximum booyeah.

Thanks man! Well it's time for new tires and I was thinking about going Vittoria Randonneur again but this time in 25c rear with a 23c front. I'll look into the Diamante Pro's.

Did some research on the Vittoria Diamante Pro, it has mixed reviews of course. I think I'd give that a shot for a front tire. In the rear I'm either looking at another Randonneur or the Zaffiro Pro II. Also with my new Leader 735 will 28c tire be fine slammed? I was thinking of going 25c in the rear for a tighter ride. Thought?
