KHS Urban Soul or Pure Fix
I was checking out the Pure Fix bikes (https://purefixcycles.com/pages/bicycle-specifications) and the KHS Urban Soul (https://khsbicycles.com/bikes/2012-kh...ls/urban-soul/) and can't find much about them.
Pure Fix seems like a great company with great customer service but I'm sure they're cutting corners to get their bikes to be as cheap as they are. If I go with a Pure Fix, would I regret it? If so, why?
None of the shops by me have the KHS bike but they can order it in for me if I want to buy it so I don't have to personally order it online. Again, there seems to be very little out there on the bike. I noticed that the KHS has a CroMo frame and a lot of alloy parts which I guess is good and usually only available in more expensive bikes. If I go with the KHS Urban Soul, would I regret it? If so, why?
Please don't recommend other bikes or Bike Direct, I'm really only looking for feedback on these two specific bikes.

Didn't you just ask like the exact same question? its still on the front page.
Purefix: Heavy crap frame, crap components (less durable, probably will need to be replaced). You will wish you had bought a better bike the second you start riding

Well my original post had mentioned the Pure Fix but other picks I had canceled out. It also didn't mention the KHS which I'm now wondering about.
Pure Fix may be Hi-Ten but it's only about 24lbs, and the KHS is about 22.5lbs. As long as it's under 25 pounds I'm a happy camper

It's not only about weight, the ride quality of the pure fix is likely to be ****

for some reason the local Trek dealer started carrying Pure Fix. omgwhataf'ingpieceofcrap. get a Thruster.
(of course this is the same shop where the manager literally -laughed- at me for riding a steel frame, not having suspension and bike commuting... . rather telling i think.)

I purchased a purefix as a beater to haul my daughters chariot trailer. For the $220 I paid it was a pretty good deal. People ***** about the frame, sure it is hi-ten and heavy. But the ride is actually pretty good, if I wanted to spend more I would have gone with the Kilo TT. I wouldn't spend any money to upgrade the purefix, other than the front brake.
