You couldn't find this thread which is right on the 2nd page, was started just a WEEK ago, and clearly has the word "helmet" in it? Admit that you didn't search for it, right now, and apologize.

Thanks for the link. I searched for fixed gear helmets. Next week when I'm in the market for a BMX helmet I will take your advice.

Maybe go to Costco? The have a Giro helmet there that's at kirkland signature price and go around noon on a weekend to snack on all the samples.

What about riding fixed would make a road style helmet not be ideal for you? |
JGL wears a Bern in Premium Rush, so you should probably get one of those.
|
tl:dr
there is no such thing as a fixie helmet, people who ride a fixed gear bike wear the same helmets as people who ride with gears, recumbent bikes, tricycle mountainbikes and unicycles |

I did a little Googling and I think a fixie helmet is when you pull the hood of your sweet American Apparel jacket over your dope Supreme fitted. Doesn't sound that safe to me, I'd go for a road bike helmet.

But since there are only a zillion helmet on the market, something that would make me look like a hipster would do. I was being sarcastic with my previous post, of course I want to look like a hipster. I should say more like a hipster. |
best bet walk into a sports authority or Dicks sporting goods and try on every helmet until you find one that feels comfortable
