Mumonkan 09-08-12 06:11 PM

What are some solid helmets for fixed gear riders?

I wouldn't want to look like a hipster.

What are you trying to accomplish with your question?

Trying not to look like a hipster is the new hipster.

I thought maybe some helmet recommendations from people who ride a similar bike as me. Not looking for the most expensive thing possible like many road cyclists. Something affordable, comfortable and simple. Like fixed gear bikes.

But since there are only a zillion helmet on the market, something that would make me look like a hipster would do. I was being sarcastic with my previous post, of course I want to look like a hipster. I should say more like a hipster.

best bet walk into a sports authority or Dicks sporting goods and try on every helmet until you find one that feels comfortable

That's what passes for "legit advice"?
Is there a "get dressed for the day" forum that you have to check on before you leave the house?

Dude, use the search function. striknein even posted a link to a recent discussion of helmets right in this thread.
