Custom Paint Scheme Ideas
12 Attachment(s)
I'll be painting my Trek T1, and I'm looking for some feedback on paint scheme ideas. It can't be too complicated because I'll be doing this myself, but I can use vinyl decals custom made. This will have my name under the clear-coat too :)
P.S. the baby blue would be a matte finish.http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274315http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274325http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274324http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274323http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274322http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274321http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274320http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274319http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274318http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274317http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274316http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=274326 |

After doing some lighter ideas, I found I really liked the white with a classic racing color. Before I had been using black mostly because I wanted to wrap the top tube like I have with other bikes. But I decided I'll just wrap it with clear vinyl. Baby blue, or British racing green? I might paint the rims white as well  |
my favorite paint scheme of all time for a bike is the Gulf colors. probably wouldnt be terribly hard to replicate...

I'd go for doodoo brown.

More work has come up with:

that middle one is by far the best one I think.
I have about a week to decide on the color of my frame too! |

ah I didn't play catchup in the thread. that explains it. their paint jobs are some of my favorites. considering 'borrowing' one of their ideas myself
|
Why propose ideas if you aren't considering using them?

When I came across glow-in-the-dark auto paint, I had to play with paint schemes around the idea. Matte black with two different options of glow-in-the-dark. The lime green is the classic kind we all know, and blueish is a particular option from Dupli that says it'll illuminate longer. I've been playing around with ideas for a vinyl head badge under the clear coat. Looking like either an cartoon skull or an "I" in a unique font. Any thoughts? |
