Nope. And that chainwhip won't work with 1/8 inch cogs.

or http://www.retro-gression.com/produc...-lockring-tool or even better http://www.retro-gression.com/produc...-lockring-tool But you might do a search on lockring tools in the forum as a couple people had an ingenious way to turn an old channel lock wrench into a lockring wrench. |
i think i'll get one on jenson because i already have a good amount in the cart. any other tool that is missing that i'll definitely need? dont have to look to hard, just if something catches your eye

Pump?
edit: actually if you are using sram S300 you need the BBT19 bottom bracket tool. edit2: Are you actually using the s300 or is it that mislabeled s100 courier powerspline thing? If you are using the courier powerspline crank then you need a different tool. We weren't lying when we said this wasn't cheap. |

I didn't actually use a bottom bracket tool of any kind to install mine. Just screwed it in as much as I could by hand and then tightened it down a bit with a big adjustable wrench. No issues after almost a year. YMMV

The one on Retro-gression is the real S300 and takes the BBT19.

so i have some minor updates. ordered everything and its on the way. had to sand the seat tube and redo it. painted the brake lever orange than realized i rather have it be just straight metal. brakes are now attached. working on putting the finishing coat on the frame and then waiting for my orders to come. heres some pictures.
re-sanded: http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/d...h_photo1-1.jpg temporary orange lever: http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/d...h_photo3-1.jpg brakes attached: http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/d...h_photo2-1.jpg whole system: http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/d.../th_photo4.jpg |
