Leader 722TS fork/rake question

This is my first post, so I guess some sort of introduction would be cool? My name's Ryan, I'm from Massachusetts. Been commuting to work on a bicycle this year and decided I want to build a ss/fixed gear that would be a fast and fun commuter. I just got a Leader 722TS in 61cm from Citygrounds and am about to order a fork for it. The 61 was the only one they had left in stock and I decided to go for it, considering my 1980 Moto Le Champion is also a 61cm and fits me quite nice. (I'm 6'3" with a 33" inseam and pretty lanky arms)

So my question: iminusd has the S803 v2 fork listed as having a 28mm offset, though when I look on retrogression I see it listed as 44mm like the v1.... any idea what the correct figure is?

Also anyone with experience on how the 722 rides with those different rake forks would be appreciated ; ]

28mm is the crown race size iirc, 44° (not mm) is the rake

No, the offset would be measured in length not degrees....

you may be right about the crown race but to copy directly from the iminusd page (this is for the v2, not the v1 which is supposedly designed to match the 722ts):

" The perfect fork for the new Leader 722 Heritage frame or any other Steel track frame.
  • Size: 700C
  • 1-1/8" steerer
  • 28mm offset (rake)

I'm not at the shop to take an actual real-world measurement but was told by Leader the rake was 44mm. Unless they changed the rake without telling anyone, I'm assuming that's what it is.

BTW - the standard crown race size on a 1 1/8" fork is 30mm.

Thanks Scrod, just wanted to confirm there wasn't a drastic difference or anything before I ordered the fork... think I'm going to pick up an Andel crankset from your store for this build, I hear good things!
