Second Single Speed Bike

Hey! So Christmas is coming up and this whole year I've been saving up for a new fixed gear bike to help be get around places and have some fun racing against some people in my area. I have a vintage road bike my mom gave to me but I'm giving it back to her. So I've been thinking about upgrading to these bikes:
1. State bicycle Contender
2. Langster Pro (If not just Langster)
3. The new FABike by Fabio (Coming out later this year/next year)
4. Or the Bianchi Pista Sei Giorni

Which one would you guys recommend for me? If you want to know I ride in and out of the city to get to places. The road is somewhat damaged with minor cracks but overall much room to ride. I go through some potholes at times (I'll be lucky not to ride over one if a car isn't in the way). Thanks!

those bikes' prices vary wildly.

the fabike is over 3000.

I know, it's the matter of getting the right bike, that's all.

What do you mean when you say "racing against some people in my area"? Do you mean doing road races? Do you mean velodrome racing? Alleycats? MUP racing?

Are you looking for the Ultimate Street Racer?

I don't think these bikes are anything alike.

Jesus ****ing Christ...everyone wants instant answers. Hang around on the forum for a while and do some research. The bikes on your list are all over the place.

Yes, something that will get me around and hopefully race with some other fixed gear bikers.

^ this. Ride a lot of bikes.

Also put some 700x28s on it when you get it. Trust me. Everything in the city is better than way.

How much are you going to spend and if it was me, I'd start with Craigslist and find a decent single speed. Buy it, ride it then figure out what you would want different and start making a list. Ride others peoples bikes and note what you liked and what you didn't like. In the end, you might just build your own, you'll meet new people with your interests and heck, one of them might even help you build one or sell you theirs.

Don't rush into anything, buy cheap, ride cheap then decide what want.
