Do factors like weight, depth, spoke count, material, etc. improve skidding in terms of durability, ease, etc.
Right now I feel like getting 50mm deep Chinese carbon clincher rims from ebay to skid on. Bad idea?

If they didn't cost around a grand each, before shipping and stuff, then they're no good for skidding at all. You'll probably break the bike.
