Advice on unknown company

I'm new to single speed bikes and I need some advice on which bike is better. So I'm looking to either buy this bike from Goose Bicycle company https://www.goosebikes.com/bikes#!__the-midnight-rider or the Nekkid 2 from nashbar https://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Produc...0052_524850_-1. Are the components comparable?

I've never heard of Goose before, but they seem like another of the dime-a-dozen sweet fixie companies out there. Nashbar is at least a reputable retailer, and it looks like their bike is cheaper. I'd go with Nashbar.

Yes, also this. Last year's Windsors are going for peanuts right now.

So wait...what is the real price of this bike?

Is it $235 or "$399 complete and shipped"?

Click "Buy Now" and they claim they'll bill you $235 for the privilege. (plus $34 for shipping according to the FAQ)

Even thought it says "FREE SHIPPING IN THE U.S." at the top of their site?

That's a lot of conflicting hogwash, right there.

If the OP just calls the company, I'm sure their sweet customer service will clear up all the confusion

when I did it, it priced it at $235
cromo and for that market, seems like a good deal.
Looks comparable to State Bicycles which is double the price.

Looks like 399 has disappeared from the page altogether. I like this company more and more every hour.

found 399 price here but if you click to buy, it goes to the 235 page.

still, 30 day return and 235... if you are buying this kind of bike, looks like a fine deal.
