I ride it fixed but like having the brakes for backup, i might get rid of the rear or both eventually. http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...psd8cfd83e.jpg |

Great Build, looks nice too. What is the current configuration?
Oh and white microtex as the black microtex on there wore out. |
nice

Was it that velvety black Microtex tape?

It would be what's now called "superlight classic black". Not the velvety "superlight soft touch" you're talking about. I'm not very fond of the soft touch texture though. For the lack of better words, it feels "dry and gritty" as opposed to "tacky and grippy with friction" with their smoothed finished microtex. I can imagine the soft touch tape would be awesome with gloves on but I ride without gloves. |

ISO 57cm. I love that bike.

I want that frame in "in search of" 57cm size.
|
I could easily make a 57 or 59 work for myself. Loving that color combo for some reason and I have never been a big fan of blue.
|
I really don't like the look of that aero fork, though. It looks too much like the ugly fork on my VISP.

Dudes! I've just finished my first ever build and it to say it was an amazing experience is an understatement. I acquired a vintage Batavus road bike that I sanded down and clear-coated, then converted to single speed. It's pretty smooth and quiet and feels so great on the road.
