Great Build, looks nice too. What is the current configuration?

Much of the same, swapped out the s803 and swift for a chamois leather concor and matching wound up seatpost.
Oh and white microtex as the black microtex on there wore out.

TMonk 12-16-14 12:31 AM

nice

hairnet 12-16-14 01:15 AM

Was it that velvety black Microtex tape?

Nope, smooth.
It would be what's now called "superlight classic black". Not the velvety "superlight soft touch" you're talking about.

I'm not very fond of the soft touch texture though. For the lack of better words, it feels "dry and gritty" as opposed to "tacky and grippy with friction" with their smoothed finished microtex.

I can imagine the soft touch tape would be awesome with gloves on but I ride without gloves.

Thanks. whats the ISO 57cm reference to?

50voltphantom 12-16-14 09:13 AM

I want that frame in "in search of" 57cm size.

TenSpeedV2 12-16-14 10:53 AM

I could easily make a 57 or 59 work for myself. Loving that color combo for some reason and I have never been a big fan of blue.

I really don't like the look of that aero fork, though. It looks too much like the ugly fork on my VISP.

Really? That's one of the reasons I love it.

Dudes! I've just finished my first ever build and it to say it was an amazing experience is an understatement. I acquired a vintage Batavus road bike that I sanded down and clear-coated, then converted to single speed. It's pretty smooth and quiet and feels so great on the road.

Baby Jesus is smiling at that Batavus and beneath my gruff exterior, so am I.

Dannihilator 12-16-14 09:42 PM

Simply gorgeous.

TMonk 12-16-14 09:44 PM
