Yeah, I meant to roll to the track tonight, since the season is coming to an end soon, but I got lazy. I still need to throw my 50t FSA ring on my bike and was intending on doing that tonight, since I wasn't going to the track after all. It didn't happen. Haha! Are you racing Bs still, or did you upgrade to B+? Next season, I'm going to race Friday nights as soon as they start, so I can get clearance to race on Tues as quickly as possible. This season was a big fail for me. I started late. Then missed five consecutive Fridays after my first night of racing. I missed last week because I didn't feel like riding to the track in the heat and I refuse to drive to the track because of how close I live. 8 miles is too close for me to drive. All in all I've raced only two nights. I plan to race this Fri and the next, which is the last.

B+
like everything else, in my life, i've become an in-betweener at the track. I can be a competitive, high tier B+ or a non-competitive, dying to stay on A.

My new Langster. Anyone know where I can get the rear brake cable hangers (m5 threaded holes under top tube) Specialized isn't going to ship replacements to its dealers until November and mine had them missing!

Have you considered hitting up other Langster owners to see if they intend on running a rear brake at any point? If I lived in LA, I would probably consider giving you mine. I probably will never run a rear brake on it.

I didn't even think to keep mine when I took them off. I do know they were just some short counter sunk style allen head screws.

Oh, I thought you were asking if anyone knew of any shops that had them. I was thinking just approach anyone you see on the street riding a Langster. Haha!

Nice! Yeah man, the new Langsters are great frames. They ride very well and the geometry fits me perfect. I want to pick up a Langster Pro to race on the track next season and use my current Langster exclusively for the road since it has bottle cage mounts. The only real difference in the geos between the two is a 10mm shorter chainstay length on the Pro, with the 52 that is.

Edit: Sorry, just saw your post further forward. Why get rid of the Kagero if you don't mind me asking? Bored?

Plus, I think it's more proper to ride steel bikes for daily through traffics (I'm using these bikes to work, took me around 50 Km total each days)
FTFY
This bridgestone is my 6th bike for the last 2 years LOL

Thanks! I dig it too.
How does an allen head screw hang the brake cable? I bought the bike second hand and it had the brakes and cables removed. I was told it was easy to get the part but it's not, I don't even know what I'm looking for but my specialized dealer told me they won't stock them until november!
I bought the bike second hand with no brakes. I installed my own TRP R920 brakes and TRP RRL levers. Does the stock 2012 langster have a special brake cable for the rear?
I couldn't agree more. I went from a 2010 to the 2012 and while it weighs a bit more in the frame the stiffness and handling have increased a LOT. I love the idea that I'm riding a Single Speed Aluminum Tarmac!
