Yet another from a prolific flipper in my area (someone else has posted his work before). I'm tempted to throw him an offer on just the frame, but that drive side chainstay looks a little sketchy.

Ah, the Waukesha guy... I can't believe he's still at it.

That hurts to watch.

This might belong in the porn thread.

Oh man this .gif is sad... the dude was a pro BMX rider. This stunt basically ended his career and in his devastation he took his own life.

He must be making some money, though the particular example I showed has been sitting at the same price for months.

If you are serious, please delete the post. I had no idea.

I am but people need to know more about this gif so I'll leave it and also this:

Not to mention they were ultimately his choices; all of it.

I swear I've seen some of his bikes up there for multiple years. Between him, the East Side guy, and Jim in New Berlin, Milwaukee craigslist has no shortage of shady flippers.

My current favorite though is the guy in Big Bend who calls every single speed bike a fixed gear, even 12" kids bikes. In his eyes, one speed means the number of gears are fixed, so they're fixed gear bikes... I once sent him a pretty benign email saying that it might be helpful if he didn't call those bikes fixed gears and he quite bluntly told me that I was clueless.

Sheesh, what a joke. New Berlin guy is my current favorite just because he honestly seems to think someone is going to pay him $275 for a GMC Denali.

At least some people seem to be catching on. Had East Side guy buy a 90s Trek 1220 before I called the other day. Original seller wanted $185 for it, and it was reposted an hour later at $300 or thereabouts. Must have gotten some considerable backlash, as a few hours later he reposted yet again for $200.

Yeah, East Side guy beat me to a Schwinn Super Letour 12.2 a few years back. Original seller was asking $125, he immediately had it up (complete with original flat rear tire) for $325. I've also seen him list bikes as Reynolds 531 when you can clearly see the 1020 sticker in one of his photos.

I am glad to see people pushing back lately - every few weeks someone seems to post something calling him out.

Damn how sad. He didn't even give himself a chance to fully recover.

JamesCraps 07-25-14 01:34 PM

Mumonkan 07-25-14 01:56 PM

Obviously it's a girl's bike.

Looks more like a seat for when waiting at a light.

Not everybody likes leaders but I would've sold it as a frame instead of scrap.

Scrodzilla 07-26-14 12:31 AM

Actually, it was most likely just a warranty replacement and they were instructed to destroy the old frame instead of sending it back.

But yeah...the piss is a little excessive.

I had a feeling; I wonder how they took it.

Philasteve 07-27-14 01:58 PM

Ever cut your frame open to make a stash spot? This guy did. http://i60.tinypic.com/16c9b0g.jpg

Leukybear 07-27-14 02:25 PM

I saw that post; it was stolen but his homie snatched it back when he saw it in lakeside. Too bad for his new lizardskins tho.
