Buy me a hub, bub.
In order to keep the bike population down, I've decided to get my Schwinn World Sport fixed. In building up the rear wheel I don't want to spend a ton on the hub, but I also don't want to buy a P.O.S. Somebody recommended a Suzue, but all I can find from the brand is a flip-flop. I'd rather go fixed-fixed.
Any recommendations? arigato |
cheapest fix-fix is surly. hands down best deal are formula/IRO hubs.
|
The formula comes fixed/fixed. Check Nashbar

i do not think that the nashbar hub is a formula hub...the cutouts look different, the center section is different, the bolts are different.
of course, i could be wrong. |
So the Nashbar hub may or not be formula. Anybody have any testimonials for the Nashbar hub?

the IRO site for pricing and details. You can get a rear hub for $40. I've got a few hundered miles on mine and they're solid so far. |
All I'm seeing on the IRO site are flip-flops. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. ANyone got a link?
