PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR INPUT - LEADER ld 735t -[OLDER MODEL]
i have a trek 2300 its a fun bike, my first real road bike i guess, its not a steal frame but ehh...only issue i have with it is that over 30mph it vibrates, wheels are true and tight, i have no idea, the LBS people said to put my leg on the top tube and it will stop the shacking/vibrating...but i cant peddal if i do that.
anyways, i just thought to ask what your thoughts are for a fixie,
i have the chance to buy a Leader 735t with carbon fork.
price is at $300 , im wondering if its worth it, or should i just find a steel frame and build a fixie off that?
please let me know your thoughts, good and bad.
i did alot of searching prior to posting and seems like there are lots of mixed feelings on leader.
i found the post below i added in here too, to give some specs on the bike from what i could find.
cheers,

In 2002 we made the 735T. It was meant for the bike messenger market. 130mm rear spacing with relaxed head angle. The head tube used was one inch. We paired it with a 250mm steer carbon fork. All the sizes worked with it except the largest 62cm size. This model is now discontinued and is no longer being made.
All new forks now have the 300mm uncut steer and use the 1 1/8” headset.
For 2005/06 we made the 735TR. It was more directed toward the track market. It does have the 120mm rear spacing and accommodates the I806 TT aero fork.
For 2007/08 we have the new 735TR. It is more aero, (80mm aero down tube). We had to make our own proprietary mold for this. It is truly aero not round at the top. All our new TT frames will use this down tube as well. The TR series now will come with CNC horizontal dropouts as well. The TR will come in five sizes now with 75 degree seat angle. It will accommodate either a road fork or a track fork. Launch for the new TT and TR frames will be mid January. All our new frames will come in gun metal black.
Our TT series is for tri and TT racing only. The geometry is not for track or road racing.
Sorry Nouia, we will have them in next month.
I am not able to give out more information now until the launch but if you have any questions please send them to me at: contact@leaderbikeusa.com

P.S. I will post a picture of the 2007 series frame when i get it.

Can't comment on the Leader, never even seen one let alone lived with one
I'd be more interested in finding out why it's acting up, especially as you seem to like the bike. I'm no expert but I'd be checking wheel and headstem bearings. If those check out, a slightly longer neck (on the bike, not you) will help. Even if you wind up buying another bike, never pass up the opportunity to learn stuff
Oh, I'd be looking for a better bike shop too.

Those look like sugino 75's on there, just the crankset and frameset alone for that price is a good deal in itself. I'd jump on it.

If the frequency of the vibration matches the RPM of the wheel, it points to something unbalanced or bent in the wheel or to something with the fork bearings.
Higher frequency vibrations could be attributed to wheel bearings, but should be easy to diagnose by a qualified mechanic.
