Help me find a wheel or hub for fixed

OK I hope this makes sense. I have an old Peugot MTB that I converted to a SS and commute on. When I did the conversion I bought a cheap OEM wheel set from Jenson with a SS conversion kit. I then found out that my bike had 126mm rear spacing, which I made work by spreading the legs and shoving the wheel in. So that is the history.

Now I would like to go fixed. I had considered a Surly Fixxer, but I am not sure that is exactly what I want. I want to go back to 126mm spacing to make the rear dropouts aligned again (at an angle to each other now). Some have said to get a new hub and build a wheel, but I am having trouble finding a pair that will work. I need to keep a 26" wheel (wife bought me the tires for birthday and they have to stay), and right now I have 32 hole rims. Jenson has a rim for $15 if I could find a 32hole 126mm hub for fixed that I could lace to it.

I am not a bike mechanic or anything, but I have changed out an axle and what not. The biggest issue here, I need this as cheap as possible. I must just not know where to look because I seem to be striking out. My LBS is not very fixed aware and really couldn't help. Can anyone help me please?

did your jenson wheel come with a casette body, or is it a hub threaded for a freehub body? the fixxer is designed to replace your cassette body. if you need a new hub, take a look at surly hubs, or iro hubs. both are sealed and inexpensive. van dessel would be another possibility.

It is a cassette, the fixxer would work with it.

great. then just get a solid axle, respace your hub, get a lock ring, and cog and you'll be aces!

The fixxer is about $80 last time I looked. The IRO hub is $40 for the rear, comes in 126 spacing, and 32 hole (not possitive on this one).
