144bcd Crank advice

So, I asked my LBS to install a new BB the other day and also asked him to install my crankset (miche primato advanced), which seemed like a good idea at the time.
The next day i go and pick up my bike, and he tells me he installed the bracket "but it is too short". very weird, because its the same sized bracket i had been using for the last 2 years.
Turns out he waaay overtightened my drive side crank arm, to the point were it no longer "grips" on the bottom bracket.
atm i have this solved by putting the bb of centre, so there's plenty more room on, the drive side. This seems to be working, and chainline is ok but i can imagine this is not the best solution regarding the bottom bracket itself.

So, I would like your opinion on the matter of the excentricity of the BB.
Also, if I replace my crank, what would you suggest?
I prefer 144BCD, so i can reuse my miche chainwheel.

Get the Miche BB. It is an odd width designed specifically for the Miche cranks. It's entirely possible that the BB you have in your bike now is not wide enough for the new Miche cranks to fit properly on the spindle; get the correct BB.

First of all, what frame do you have?

Secondly, the Miche Advanced crankset uses a 107mm ISO BB. If your frame doesn't allow clearance, Miche does make ISO BBs with longer spindles - all of which are adjustable from side to side to adjust chainline and clearance. If possible, you should stick to using 107mm though.

Third, find a new LBS because the "mechanic" at yours isn't competent.

Last but not least, if he ****ed up your crankset by over-torquing the bolts, the shop needs to replace it.
