Cinelli Gazzetta Too Big ???

I recently bought a cinelli gazzetta 52cm. I'm 5'5" and have a really short inseam. My toes barely rest on the ground with this frame. Is this something I should worry about? I thought about dropping down to a 50... but now I might get an entirely new frame. Pake makes the rum runner in a 49. Are these differences going to be noticeable? I'm not really trying to go hard in the paint at the velodrome or anything like that... juat a daily commuter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your toes barely rest on the ground when? When on the saddle or top tube? If it's on the saddle, then that's normal; you're not supposed to be able to get either foot flat on the ground if you're on the saddle. at 5'5", you probably should have gone with the size 50, but a size 52 still can work. If you have long arms and torso, then a 52 might even be the better choice, actually.
