Junky Rusty Bikes?

Howdy SS/FG crowd.

I'm in the market for a IGH, preferably in a complete wheel form since I'm no wheelbuilder and as much as I'd like to support my LBS, I don't have the funds to pay them to build a wheel for me. I'm pretty set on a Sturmey Archer S2C and in my travels stumbled on Junky Rusty Bikes out of CA. I've done some homework on them and I though I've seen some negative feedback on them, I wouldn't say it's safe to say they're garbage since most of the trash talk was about their completes. No name completes are generally low end. I'm more interested in their Weinmann DP18 S2C rear wheel which is in my price range and prebuilt. DP18s are fine by me since this is going on a commuter.

My question is have any of you guys purchased their wheels? How are they quality wise? They seem to be generally OK. I'm not looking for the lightest wheel with top notch DT spokes and the lightest rims. People knock the stock Kilo wheels but I have a set on my commuter and there's nothing wrong with them IMHO. I just need a robust complete S2C rear wheel. I can true wheels so I'm not even so concerned that they're perfectly true out of the box.

Thanks guys.

What's IGH?

Why not just get Deep-V's for like $150 a set.

Ah, well then my suggestion is null and void.

VeloMine has just the rear wheel for $149. (With DT Swiss spokes)

Lots of people here have had a positive experience with VeloMine.

Rusty Junky Bikes is a reliable source , service is good, products seem average. Velomine has a better selection and better quality. If your near Scotch Plains NJ, there is an excellent local source. (PM me for more info)

Awesome, thank you for the link. Might go with Velomine if it comes to that.

Post count isn't high enough for PM but if you could PM me the name, I'd appreciate it Velognome. I'd save me on shipping and support a brick and mortar shop. Sounds like a win win to me. Thanks and BIKE NJ!
