Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Does it look like the rims match the color on the frame? Kind of looks like it to me, but it's tough to tell.

I like every IF bike I've seen.

Nah, they made the bike finish match the rim color. Seriously, yes they do look like they match.

Nice bike but if I were going to drop $$ on a custom frame I wouldn't get cable routing braze-ons. WTF? Maybe this was originally meant to be a SS but to me it ruins the whole thing. Good company, though. A girl I used to work with works there. Maybe I can get a discount!

Why don't you complain about the spacers and the computer while you are at it And that the photo was taken from the wrong side. And that the sun isn't shining. And that it has a silver headset with a black stem. And that the tire labels aren't aligned with the valve stems. And that the valve caps are on. And that the brake cable housing was cut a bit too short. I think the owner should sell it to me as salvage so I can fix a few things...

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the guy who owns/builds the ANT frames used to build frames for IF. Both companies are from the boston area so I wouldn't be suprised. Well made frame if it was built buy him.

My question is why Diversey harbor? Why not North Ave? Montrose? Diversey is raw, dude, raw!

Mike Fla****n who runs ANT did indeed co-found IF. He went solo a year or two ago to concentrate on building commuter bikes.

Naz, is that the kind of ride you're dreaming of?

Nice ride, nice ride.

Just look at the rake on that fork.

Pinarello also sucks for the same reason. Serotta too. Odd.

You know it, baby! Everything Somerville makes, it makes right! Just try Cossack brand Vodka (really). We may only be four square miles, and we may only be the 12th largest city in Mass., but we are the Number One in Density! Oh yeah! Somervillionaires in the place!

I just saw that bike yesterday. The guy riding was riding a Peugeot conversion before, so I was like, "Damn, he must have just gotten a new IF." He rode in that CX race at Montrose harbor and also at the Prologue of Tour da Chicago this year. Nice guy, I chatted with him after the CX race because we finished last and second to last together.
