Kilo TT or Fuji feather for track

Hi, I am about to buy a new bike, and I realy am looking for a track bike feel. I LOVE this track bike feel. I am NOT good with geometry. I am choosing between these 2 only, for they look great. So wich one of these 2 would give me the best track bike feel? Agressive geometry and all. Thx a lot lot the help!

the 53cm kilo tt

So your thread title should read "Kilo TT or Fuji Feather for street," amirite?

Jaytron 04-11-13 08:02 PM

Why the hell does the title say "for track" and the first sentence say "won't use it on track"

I predict this thread will go well.

As I said, I don't get the geometry thing, I just want to know wich one of these 2 bikes has the most agressive geometry. As I said, tks you for the help.

that's why it isn't an issue.

I edited my post to fit your delicate needs guys, now, if you can't help me, please, refrain yourself from making comments. And tks in advance to those who can help me.

the kilo seems to have slightly steeper angles. but i dont know what that would mean for you. geometry can always be gotten around using different sized components and such. you can realistically make them feel the same if you wanted to.

Price is not an issue? Handbuilt custom. You get to specify what you want, your measurements get taken and you get a freshly tailored bike-suit that is as aggressive as you want. But I suspect that price may be an issue afterall.

Thx, I wasn't aware of that. Good to know. Right now I plan to ride it stock, for a years or 2 at least. I'll get better parts when the stock parts get used. So you would say stock, the Kilo has the more steeper geometry? I just like to ride very sprinty, very steep with the weight in front. It's how I enjoy riding. It's a big deal for me, the feel of the bike. Thx man. Any other opinion?

I really love when these kids start stupid threads, then proceed to tell everyone how they need to respond.

You're "choosing between these 2 only, for they look great", so pick the one you think looks better.

Even though you don't understand the whole geometry thing, you still want aggressive track geometry for a bike you'll ride leisurely on the street? Gotcha.

Personally, whatever you choose, I'd get it a few sizes too small so you can slam the stem and have a super tall seatpost so you can be more aero.

ITT

OP has no idea what he's doing and is mad at us for pointing that out.

Robofunc 04-12-13 08:22 AM

It's for parking at the café, geometry can be impossibly aggressive.

Scrod's having a shot at you but typically for Scrod, he's also giving you the best advice. You really aren't experienced enough to fully appreciate the nuances of a the various track bikes. You're better off buying a bike designed for the street with track like geometry and to select that bike, simply buy the one you like the best.
Then ride the rings off it - at that point, you'll be advising in threads like this, not starting them. ;)

seau grateau 04-13-13 01:29 AM

The funny part is that the answer is actually Kilo TT.

europa 04-13-13 04:24 AM

KiloTT

SnowJob 04-13-13 08:20 AM

OP, check out the Moonlander by surly. That bike is a beast at the track.

GENESTARWIND 04-13-13 08:21 AM

amazing.

funny thing is, im sure the kilo tt is what he thinks he wants but the fuji would probably suit him better comfort wise for his intended use.

to ramp things up.

This. Pretty sure this is only like the fourth time I've ever seen it be the relevant answer.
