Rail position on san marco regal v. regale

Hi. I have been riding on a regale for some time and it has quickly become my favorite saddle. so when i built up an older bike i decided to go for something similar. I went with the regal. however, i soon realized that the rails on the regal are super far back. this makes it so the saddle is way far forward, uncomfortable. to make it comfortable, i would have to push the saddle way back. i was wondering just how bad it is to go out of the "suggested" saddle position hashmarks. or can someone suggest a far set back saddle in 26.8?

thanks everyone.

my post is similar to this one:

https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/kalloy-mi...8mm-prod28538/

so it has some set back. the problem is finding a post with more set back in 26.8

also, the original question was about how bad it was to put the clamp further toward the nose of the saddle on the regal.

As long as the rails are on a flat portion, you're fine.

Probably.

JK, you're good.

Maybe.
