Found out it was a 51 and not a 53 like I thought he mentioned last week. Top tube on the sz 51 pista is 525 and my sz 53 bolt is 530 so not much difference but it just felt really small riding it around. I'm gonna try and find somebody with a 53.
Good luck with that finding someone else who wants to trade. Why don't you just get a longer stem for it ?

I know it would have made difference putting my 100mm stem on the bike compared to his 80mm but IDK it just felt small. I would get on my bolt and it felt right then I would get on the pista and it felt like I was on a children's bike. I had to put the seat post up pretty high to so I wasn't liking the saddle to bar drop.

So, was there any uncut steerer tube left above the stem so you could raise it some ? Also, you can get stems with a lot of rise as well. Regardless, I just don't think are a lot of Super Pista owners out there wanting swap it for a Bolt.

Not a bike, but a recent Bulgarian 74 build. It's a parts kit build from an original 1987 Arsenal (Circle 10) of Bulgaria. All #'s matching.

nope he cut the steerer a lot so couldn't add spacers. Stems with a lot of rise look weird. I will just wait and see if anything else comes up. Im not in a rush to trade my bolt the owner of the pista came to me about the trade so thats why I even looked into it.

Today I loaded my last ride for Sept. on Strava. Finished the month with 611 miles. Was going for my third straight month of 1000km challenges but lost a couple of days with a cold. But I'm at 45% completion on the Eddy Merckx Challenge and should complete it easily. Weather here in North Texas is perfect right now.

today i bought a new backpack. gonna move the mw fitzroy to travel duty and use the new smaller, lighter burton tinder for daily use.
here it is with my big agnes seedhouse sl1, poles, fly, footprint, msr pocket rocket, 2 fuel canisters, rei flash sleeping pad, black diamond apollo lantern, petzl tikka headlamp, tent mesh repair, matches and a couple days worth of clothes.....so it'll be the ideal camping pack also.
pretty stoked...looking forward to the fall!

seems well constructed. we'll see i guess!

He is. Normally that activity would have been preceded by an 80 mile ride.

Today I got a mouthful of ash when the stuck up ***** in front of me threw her cigarette butt out the sunroof of her mercedes and it hit me in the face. She was going to the same university that I was so I gave her a piece of my mind.

I would have been amazingly pissed. I'm always blown away that people still smoke cigarettes in 2013.
