Today, I'm tired.

Yesterday, on my 9 hour flight from munich to newark, our pilot had to turn around because they found parts of our landing gear on the runway. 7 hour delay, then we got in at 2am. That was fun.

Today, yet another 40.

Today I decided to nickname my new bike out of sheer boredom. I've decided to call it the Rotary for right now, just because the chain is somewhat loud when i start from a stop, but as i go faster it moves easier and get to this nice buzzing sound just like a rotary engine. Although, I'm sure that noise from the chain could be an issue, but I can't seem to figure it out, I've lubed it with the teflon chain lube and it still makes noise.

Perfectly fine, actually. I was hoping we would be lopsided or something but you couldnt even tell there was an issue. I assume it wasn't anything important that fell off, but that it meant something else might be loose.

boeing 747

edit: probably the 747-8 intercontinental to be precise about it

Today I filed a police report for my wife's bike (stolen from our detached garage). Total waste of time but I need it for insurance. The scary part about the whole thing is that they saw my bike in the house, lifted the screen, and found out the windows were locked. We were in the house, sleeping, and our 4 week old twin boys were two rooms away. Not cool. And they skipped over all of the power tools and stole a 2006 Trek hybrid worth maybe $150.

Yikes - though, glad they were kind of stupid and took the relatively worthless bike. I experienced a break in while I was home sleeping (never woke up - discovered the missing items and open window the next morning) and it threw me for a loop for a while.

Does your insurance have a low enough deductible to even cover that? Or do you have a rider for the bike(s)? My homeowners insurance won't give me a rider or personal property policy for my bikes which I find to be really stupid. They'll do it for jewelry but not bikes? Annoying.

My insurance replaced my buddy's Trek 1500 with the cash equivalent for a new 1.5. He was ecstatic.

Today I:

...still have a broken arm. Dang it.

Muffin Man 05-13-13 09:53 AM

Lol AP physics test today. I'm ****ed.

yummygooey 05-13-13 10:48 AM

you should retake undergrad level physics in your first year of college anyways (imo)

it's kind of important for the rest of your education if you're doing engineering

Muffin Man 05-13-13 10:52 AM

I plan on taking physics in college. I just want more credits so I can get better housing faster haha.

striknein 05-13-13 11:04 AM

Considering switching/doubling up for an engineering technology major, but so much science whyyy...

I have a friend who had a bike stolen out of his garage and the insurance company gave him fair market value for the bike. He wound up with a much better bike.

Probably a better spend then the iphone app. I like how it unsubscribes me from threads after I post with it. Kind of defeats the whole purpose.

ktaoabc 05-13-13 02:25 PM

Today, I cut back my time on the stationary bike from 1hr to 45 mins. One hour was getting boring.

seau grateau 05-13-13 02:36 PM

Today I started watching car crash videos on YouTube, and I don't remember why.

Yeah I gave up on the app pretty quickly. It sucks, frankly

Today I am listening to the new Daft Punk. It's disco. I enjoy it because I like dancey shiny stuff for summertime jamz.
