Today I took a spin on the Lakefront Trail and got some good old fashioned Non Drive Side pics.

Today I booted my fancy rear tire after finding some frayed threads in one spot, but determining that the inner layer was still perfectly intact. If it explodes and kills me, it was good knowing all of you.

Today I went for a nice 7-mile ride after refreshing my fixed-gear. New Rat Trap Pass tires, 44T Vuelta USA chainring, 16T Euro-Asia cog, KMC K1 (they're still "Kool" to me) chain. Finally my whole drivetrain is 1/8". And with true balloon tires, everything feels right on this bike. :)

Today, I participated in my first running event, all thanks to my friend's encouragement. It turned out to be an incredible experience as it was a fun marathon. To be honest, I used to despise running because, well, I thought I wasn't very good at it.
After the event, I hopped on my fixie and rode around town with my friends. We headed out to grab some delicious noodles and coffee, and later on, we all decided to chill at the fixie shop. Hanging out with my friends there was the perfect way to cap off the day. Overall, it was a fantastic day filled with running, cycling, good food, and wonderful company. Life just keeps getting better (hopefully) |
Today I am researching a Benotto frame I found online for sale

Today I bumped this thread
This week though, bought a new bike (gravel/workhorse/kid hauler) because I have a 9mo to haul around SF. Also put a sweet bottle cage on the town fixed gear https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...c34b5e3ec2.png |

Here ya go! It is heavy though, since it's all metal. It isn't a super tight hold, but the aesthetic is worth it LOL

It was an ehmergency It is neat I have many of the PDW animal cages which are cheaper but maybe I might consider this one though it seems like this rip-dip thing is one of those modern hype things the chilrens are all talking bout. |
Whoa the PDS animal cages are sweet. TIL they exist
A cage may be 40 dollars, but the style is priceless (or something). The rip-dip thing I swear I saw on a pocket t-shirt maybe 4~5 years ago and thought it was hilarious. I do agree, I think the youths appreciate the brand? Maybe it's over now that us olds are adopting it. |
