I got doored 5min into my ride this morning.

Stiff neck, dislocated right pinkie finger. Just got discharged from ER. Oh, my rear reynolds carbon clincher is also totaled.

What I'm most pissed about is that I didn't get to complete my training ride lol, which was supposed to be the last one of this block before I rest up next week. Oh well, I was feeling tired and sore anyway. Maybe it was an omen lol.

This afternoon I ran into a girl I dated in high school (20+ years ago and 3000+ miles away) at a bar in Ocean Beach. Pretty ****ing weird.

Today (and yesterday) I am seeing the bits of winter that don't suck. Crystal clear sunny mornings over sparkling white snow. I don't think it ever looks this nice in summer, maybe in the fall. Of course, its -25C out.

This weekend I got the first glimpse of my new touring bags and they look AMAZING. Hopefully they get here this week. My adventure bike should be back from powder coat this week as well. If you haven't heard of Swift Industries check them out. I am so impressed with how they handle things and conduct business. They truly are doing things the right way in the cycling industry.

Well actually last night... but on our Night Ride, we got to experience a bit of the old Wild West. One of our stops was at the Stockyards, about the time there was quite a shootout. Cops, firemen and helicopters galore.
