Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Ok thanks. I have a floor pump but it only got them to about 30psi before it was really hard to push down. Not a great pump, at least it was cheap. There's a gas station right next door with a compressor, I don't mind paying a bit. I'll get them to 100. I'd rather have a harsh-ish ride than a flat, especially with the crappy roads around here.

Payin for air will add up since 23mm tires need pumping like every other day.

Update I got the tires to full psi and the ride is way more comfortable. The ground feel is a little harder bit the overall ride is smoother and more responsive. I've also fixed the fit so my legs actually extend fully. Took me a while to get used to being so high off the ground, but I'm enjoying it. Thank you all for your help, it was much appreciated.

I know it's been a long time...but did you ever figure out if 32 will fit the Critical Cycle Harper?
