Track nuts- sizes?

I'm cashing in one of my stupid question cards today:

I have a few rear wheels with campy hubs lying around and I finished building another bike. Rather than sharing track nuts, I bought another set. These nuts work fine with the axels, but they require a wrench 2mm larger than the other nuts. Is there a standard nut size?

Looks like I'll need another wrench for my flat kit...

15mm

Thanks- so I'm not crazy. The only other nuts I could find locally have been 17- including a co0l-looking set of aluminum nuts (like I need them).

Shall I assume the new aluminum 17s are better than the 15s...?
