Bikes on Megabus

Hey, just wondering if any of you have had any luck taking bikes on Megabus. I am going to Burlington, VT and wan to bring my bike cuz I hear the riding is great up there. I have heard from people that it can be done depending on the driver. But have also heard of people being down right denied. I don't think it would be a problem as I am traveling at a non peak vacation time so there should not be too many students going. Just curious about experiences with this. Thanks

looked into it, but have never tried it. I'm sure if you had it in something and it was less than 50lbs they would never know.

I dont wanna go to too much trouble packing it up in a big box or anything though as I am not sure if I will have access to a place to put it together right away. Plus its a pain in the ass. I was thinking garbage bags and maybe a large laundry bag or something
