miche vs iro/nashbar

Would you rather have a full miche group or the iro february special with nashbar hubs, a nashbar seatpost and an fsa headset?

isotopesope 03-01-05 03:58 PM

miche.

Cynikal 03-01-05 04:01 PM

Depends, for street riding I would want an all sealed group. I would lean more toward the IRO/Nashbar. The Miche stuff is generally built for the track and is respectively good for track use.

the miche hubs are sealed actually. but i also think sealed is the way to go for street riding.

hangthedj85 03-01-05 04:41 PM

is this even a serious question?

go with the miche group and thank yourself later.

Cynikal 03-01-05 04:57 PM

Thanks, I actuall wasn't sure if they were sealed or not.

stupid question time:

what's a full miche group?

MQracing 03-02-05 10:18 AM

a full miche track groups includes headset, seatpost, pedals, hubs, crankset, bottom bracket, cog and cog carrier. Price approx $450 for complete group.

some vendors offer abbreviated groups and delete say the pedals, seatpost and headset... for less bucks.

nice stuff... haven't used my group yet but I was impressed with the quality of the finish.

Mike
