Jan loves me not shaving over the weekend because she can scratch the stubble, but if I mention the "b" word, she gives me 'that' look. Sorta makes me want to grow it out to see how much I can get away with ... but then again, maybe I'm just a coward.

I shaved my face daily for 20 years while in the Navy, during that time I lost enough hair that shaving my head became cheaper than a haircut. Now I am retired bald and bearded, I'm married so I use brakes

I'm seeing a Duck Dynasty episode where they all ride FG's in our future. Willie has three brakes, Si has none but crashes first time out. Phil has the Mrs. riding on his handlebars...

How is it that people see the work brakes spelled correctly about a hundred times in a thread (as well as in the thread title), yet proceed to use an entirely different word when they post?

Because I'm busy at work at typing as quickly as possible so that my co-workers don't see me slacking off.

Front only, because it's neither totally uncool nor cool, black nor white. I live in the gray zone.
FWIW, my goal on my fixed rides is to never use the brake, even on some fairly steep descents, and I rarely need to touch it. It's essential though when in any traffic, at least for me.

So I'm growing my beard out for the first time. It's been going about 2 months. The thing is I have a bald spot on one of my cheeks about the size of a quarter. I'm kind of just waiting to see if the surrounding hair covers it up after a while. Anybody think this is likely? There is no way I'm willing to go to a mustache or goatee. If I'm going to shave, I'm going to do the whole thing.
