another "comfy clipless shoe" thread
 

I've got some nice Sidi's, for my SPDs -- they're great shoes, but they sure aren't comfortable to walk around in.

I want to get some shoes that i can comfortably (or at least relativley comfortably) wear all day at work (i'm standing for most of 8 hours). I've heard people reccomend the Diadora Geko, the SixSixOnes, the Sonoma, among others....

so i guess i'm looking for some more votes or recommendations for the most comfortable clipless shoes

im ordering the combo from nashbar (i think) if the shoes are a bust...im going with the specialized sanomas they look (almost) like real shoes and sound pretty decent

I have the Gekos. I find them ok for walking - the cleats don't strike and are relatively comfortable. But when these break, I'm definately going to invest in some higher quality shoes. Part of the problem might be that they are a tad too big.

The Specialized Rockhopper (now called the Taho) is a very comfortable shoe... excellent for wearing all day. Looks fairly normal, doesn't have any crazy lugs like some mountain shoes, and the cleat fully recesses to eliminate any 'click' while walking.

Although... I've always wanted a pair of the Shimano SPD running shoes, called the FN-01. Sure, it's a Spinning shoe, but it looks comfy as hell. Alas, Shimano doesn't make a 49...

I heard a rumor that Nike is making some clipless shoes using the Nike Vandal model!
