increase reach on my Bianchi Pista by fitting bull type bars?

Any tips here? Ive got a Pista that gave me a right backache last summer, as it's a 57cm, and I'm 192cm With a 90+cm inseam, so should have a 61cm frame....
Would it be a good idea to fit bullhorn type bars (what the he.. are they called?) With the small brake levers om the front to give me a longer Reach and a (bit) of Comfort?

Also love the idea of leather wrapped bars With a leather Brooks...

Did you look at the sticky thread about bike fitment questions? In general there is maybe 15mm of actual extension that bullhorns get you over being in the hoods on drops but this depends a lot on the actual handlebars.

Why not just get a longer stem?

Different frame that actually fits him. Probably has hella saddle to bar drop, which is why his back hurts. More reach won't help.

Well, might be a point.. Haven't got the tape measure out, but have a look at the picture. :-)

Flipping the stem for more rise might help in the meantime.

It doesn't look to me like that stem has much rise/drop to it.
