Pedal recommendations?

So I need new wider platform pedals for my 09 jamis sputnik and was hoping for recommendations. I was hoping not to spend more than 20 or 30 or so. I was also going to purchase these to go along with it (if you guys don't recommend something else that is).

If you are just riding on flats, then any bmx pedal will do. It's worth getting sealed bearings if you ride lots...they last much longer.

I have used Odyssey Twisted pedals on my bike for 3-4 years started with Primo straps before switching to Retrogression straps. Great pedals

All bmx pedals are the same in my book. I would recommend clipless though, but if you want bmx pedals and straps go with good straps like ynot, burro, re.load, hold fast, don't cheap out. I think Famli makes a pair for $30, anything with quality lower than that will suck. I've been riding the same ynot straps for going on 4 years minus the velcro weakening a bit they're fine.

Can you recommend one? I'm looking at these-

I can recommend the Wellgo MG-1 pedals. Sealed bearings and fairly light for platforms. I added some MKS Spin-II to mine, which makes them easy to flip and get feet into straps.

I also removed the pins on the side with the straps. Makes it much easier to get your feet in and out!
