I will never forget that one set of "ultra" gatorskins that I had on my daily commuter. They remained unpenetrated well into the period when conti had changed it to just gatorskin.
Never had a flat. Only retired them when the kevlar meshing finally separated entirely from the rest of the shell casing. They were squared and cut up so badly that when unmounted, the contact surface of the tire looked like freddy krueger's face when the sidewalls were squeezed together. Broke even when I had a new gatorskin die to a sidewall ala achille's heel rip just 1 and a half weeks in. |

This one is killing me as it's my size and even though I get paid on friday, that money is deadlocked for my rent. Curses, adult responsibilities. |
Raleigh Tourist DL!
What do you guys think of this for $350? Just last night I spend $200 on a new saddle, bars, and few other parts to turn my Fuji into a townie/tourist style. I am wondering if I should have just spent a little more and got a whole bike out of it (assuming it would fit) |

I wouldnt pay $650 for that

Ditto. I definitely would not feel comfortable buying from someone who has no clue what they're talking about.

The brooks hes selling for $80 is a decent deal though -- Guess it depends on which one hes selling though

I was checking this out for like 10 minutes. Nice old Cannondale.

I didn't either but he does say it's a touring frame so that kind of makes sense :ride:

It's pretty hot, the owner did a nice job on the build. I never knew Cannondale built a frame with non-cantilever centerpulls in mind, but apparently this one was.

Now thats a decent deal :thumb:

Hmm.. While this frame is rather beat its still a good deal..! These frames are kinda rare, right?

56 cm cannondale track frame Looks like a beater that's seen its fair share of being thrown around, I would proceed with caution in the case that some stickers are covering up the truth. |
