I've got to take pics of my new (~8 weeks) daily driver, now that it's been built and ridden for a while

A couple more items and my new commuter bike will be ready to start commuting with, even though I am not quite ready.

No 3T bars, so I put a piece of printer paper behind the faceplate lol. Might play with different color tissue paper or something so make it pop.

Ordered from November wheels a little over 2 weeks ago, but the pink front hubs were backordered. Dave said he thinks he should be able to ship by the end of the week. I can't wait.

Parts bin + borrowed parts collabo. After doing a quick shakedown ride today, I realized this bike pretty much serves no purpose in my stable because it doesn't do anything better than either my Spooky or Stoemper other than look super fixie. I'll probably swap this 5800 group with the 6700/5700 group that's on the Spooky, then sell this thing to fund a second pair of 11 speed wheels so both my Stoemper and Spooky can have their own wheels.

Continuing the ever popular garage door background theme...
And considering it is so hot and humid today that I practically bonked - just before I barely made it home...

The tape is Bontrager Gel Cork. It's a perfect match for the honey brooks.
The tires are 28s I had lying around, and I think I'm good with the size. I may go to a 32 in the rear, depending on how this thing handles a load. I'll probably take it camping next weekend.

Picked this up on Friday. First legit road bike since I was 12 years old. Had a geared CX bike a few years ago but it was such a POS that I don't count it. The deal that I got on this bike from the shop was so good that there was no way I could pass it up. I told my friend to shoot me if I walked away from it. Sorry for the crap background. Was heading out for a short group ride. Still need to make a few adjustments to it, stem and bar angle mostly. Already swapped the saddle out for a Specialized Phenom 143 that I had. Shop removed the factory white Felt tape (why they do this I have no idea - white tape sucks!!) and they threw on some Deda tape instead Deda Elementi Mistral Bar Tape | Chain Reaction Cycles and the dork disc was removed this morning. Deda stem to go on in the morning. The saddle bag is already off, and it only goes on for group rides.
2015 Felt Z5, full carbon, 105 STI and drivetrain. New wheels are in the works already.

It came stock with their variable angle stem, which is just the stem and then an adjustable shim that lets you set it at +/- 8, 12 and 16° as you desire. Currently set at 16 I think. It's a bit too slammed for me so I am going to try a different stem just to see. If I can achieve a similar feel with a slight rise from what it is now, and the stem is aesthetically more pleasing, I will go that route.

Dude I love stuff like that, very nice attention to detail! Might I suggest a local hardware (maybe arts&crafts?) they would have multi color (blue, yellow, red, green, white, etc.) electrical tape. That might be a more moisture resistant and brighter option?

That would definitely work, or just get a can of plasti dip. Take the bars off, tape off the parts you don't want taped and spray away.
