Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Groovy like Soul Train too.

Snagged a C13 from a buddy. Probably going on the Merckx once I find a suitable seatpost for oval carbon rails.

I bought a C-Dale Synapse Disc so my other bikes wouldn't be lonely. Also, I sort of missed having a geared road bike.

How dare you! Seltzer is the drink of the gods... especially for those who don't drink alcohol.

It's for people too cultured to drink normal water.

The sqrl's been drinking quite a bit of it recently.

i have never understood seltzer since a yout. is it salty? why is it not sweet? where is all the flavor? is this just water? if it is then why the hell is it carbonated? so many questions.

i want my water to be water, the thirst quenching nectar of life. not sprite ultralights with the long filters

Topo Chico is great!

I don't drink soda and can't always be drinking beer, but really enjoy carbonated beverages. This is where seltzer fits perfectly into my life.

Back on the East Coast, Polar seltzer is the ultimate. That Lacroix stuff is ok but it doesn't even come close.

I'll take one of these over a la croix any day.

Having been able to taste nearly every flavor of la croix thanks to the sqrl, I can't stand the aftertaste I get from la croix.

Since I quit drinking 3 years ago, in a social situation, if a drink is a must, I just opt for a 7up/Sprite with a lime or two in it. Looks like the gin and tonic that I used to drink. Easily sipped on just like one was well.

No cocktails here either. Try 1 part OJ and 2 parts 7-Up (diet). It has a nice balance because of the thicker, heavier OJ and the carbonation from the 7-Up.

Topo Chico times 1 millions! I would rather drink natural mineral water than some Evian (which you should try spelled backwards).
Topo Chico has got the stuff that plants crave!

Fizzy water is what's up. Sparkly and refreshing without getting bogged down by all of the sugar in soda. Nice afternoon pick me up.

Bought a pair of Challenge Grifo Open Tubulars for the Nature Boy Zona. Gumwall all of the things.
