Bought my first frame to build up:

levant.jpg

levant higashikawa.jpg

levant frame roof_small2.jpg

Got it for a steal off eBay, and it's in even better condition than the listing showed. Scratching and rusting are minimal, and the headset and BB look almost new after I cleaned them up.

Super, super excited.

[First two photos are from the listing. Last one is the result of my sh*tty photography skills plus resizing in an attempt to meet the upload guidelines.]

I've tried on 4 different occasions with varying 9 speed shifters and 10 speed RD's to much limited success.
The best I've gotten was perfect downshifting but garbage upshifting.

Nevertheless, if you have a parts bin and time to kill or beer in need of drinking, it's worth a try.
One time I had to help a friend get her bike back on the road because she busted her RD. My 8 speed 600-tricolor rear derailleur worked just fine with her 10speed shifters. I just threw it on in a pinch to see if it would work, and hey, success!

And in the opposite order, I have had a 10 speed 105 RD working nicely with my 8speed indexed DT shifters.

Have enjoyed their clear lens goggles a few years now and just noticed they're offering tinted lenses. Anything cooler than 50f and I gotta wear em, otherwise my eyes tear up pretty bad.

It was made by Michael Hudecek of Forest City Portage. I posted that info, but I must have accidentally deleted it when I changed the photo in my post.

12x8x17. The sides can be zipped up to 4.5 when you don't need the full capacity.

Just noticed the grips on your bike. I have never seen someone put them on like that. Everyone I know that uses them, including me, has the OURY part facing the rider.

my custom frame project was aborted. Some delays, and then the builder send me the wrong frame :@

asked for my money back, and at my LBS (SPZ dealer) they had a NOS 2011 Langster frame. Nice

What did you order? And more importantly, what arrived at your doorstep?

Interesting. I only know one other guy personally that uses them, and his are installed like mine. I want to say that I saw a picture of someones bike on here when scrolling through the "post your ssfg" thread that had them facing forward as well. Suppose it doesn't matter much either way.

bought from a local builder. Asked (and paid) for a 4130 cr-mo with bilaminate lugs, 56 in orange. Received a 48 1020 steel lavender lo pro frame. Not happy with that trade

Shimano m089 shoes (wide!) and M520's. First clipless setup. An injury on the top of my right foot has made clips and straps severely painful. Hoping this is better.

Somewhere there's a short rider wondering what s/he is supposed to do with an orange 56cm frame.
