Bianchi Super Pista fork for my 2006 Bianchi Pista Concept, so I can mount a front brake caliper for riding safely on the road. The original fork does not have a hole in the fork for mounting a brake. It was $189 with free shipping from City Grounds and I got the last one in stock.

I noticed that both the description of the Alpina and Bianchi Super Pista forks say "F04" in them. What's that all about ?

That is a very nice looking weave pattern. I admit to knowing next to nothing about carbon products but I enjoy the textured surface on some of them. Looking forward to seeing the bike built up.

Thing is the fork on my Pista Concept looks a lot like the Alpina, including the transition about half way down the fork legs. About the only difference is the stated rake on the Bianchi fork is 28mm and it's 30mm on the Alpina. The new Super Pista fork lacks the transition and the crown area looks totally different.

Just picked up some Nitto RM-014f for my touring bike. Don't know why but I had a couple other handlebars on the counter, so here ya go:

Oh, and I won some handlebar tape at an alleycat tonight! The stars are in line!
