I have a knockoff spurcycle bell just because it was so cheap, and the shop carries the real deal and sells a bunch of them. There isn't any comparison. the rockbros one sounds halfway decent by itself, but once you hear the spurcycle, the tone lasts much longer, is a clearer and much more focused sound, and the build quality is much much better. The striker on my rockbros lost its elasticity after about a month of very very light usage to the point where you can bring the striker to the bars, let go, and it doesn't even hit the bell anymore. My coworker's spurcycle is around 2.5 years old, and still sounds and works like new.

bought a kilo tt at a swap meet and it fits on my pista pretty well, the geo is pretty close to the stock fork. Not a bad upgrade for $20. And my pista is chromed under the paint, so the more I tear it up the better this thing will look.

$122 for VoS stage race in Phoenix. About to spend another $200 (ea. between 13 people) for a sweet 9 bed house with a pool, bbq and big yard in Scottsdale, Airbnb. I think I might have more fun hanging out with everyone in the evenings than during the races.

I'm going to have to investigate this race. I'd love to come out and do some photos...also, I think the crit happens downtown near my house. At least it used to, so I wouldn't even have to travel that far. Woo!

In other news, I bought purple shoes yesterday.

It fits good. has vented sleeves and sides. For the price you'd be hard pressed to beat it (no shill).
I'm about 15-20 pounds over weight at 210 and I bought a large. It is tight, but once I slim out a bit it will be perfect.

Just picked a RockShox Reba for $80 on CL. It will be a great addition to the Kona.

Hoping to shove these on the Cilo the wider rims seem to be fitting and I have a wee bit of clearance so we'll see.

For the Cilo again, the ones currently on were just some extras an old mechanic had around and I wanted to upgrade a bit:

They are fenders that can fit a 35-38c tire, with decent coverage, are compatible with disc brakes, quick to attach and weigh under 300 grams. Heck yes:

I also got two White Industries Freewheels (one is a trials version that I am converting to a red lockring):

Curious to see how you like those. Seems like the mounts are kind of janky. The fenders themselves look really cool.
