The mounting seems odd but I am excited to give them a go. If needed be I can use reusable zip-ties or maybe figure something else out. Since the fenders are more of a practicality thing than anything else I don't mind if they look a little jenky-ish for the commute.

I will update when I get them. They are shipping from Brexitville so they are certain to take sometime. Hopefully QBP picks them up (or back up, I think they carried the MK2s at one point) but until then and because Crud never responded to my email I will just order them from a shop across the pond.

I just bought some stuff for my 'brid my mostly spare parts hybrid

40t (for a 40x11-32)

To help chain retention and keep my pant legs a little cleaner

some QBP wheels with Deore hubs and Alex rims

and a some winter gloves and other bits and bobs (cables and lube and such) Kind of a boring but practical shopping trip this time.

I ordered from Excel Sports. $9.95. Arrived in ATL in three or four days.

They are sort of gun metal-ish color if that matters. The original one my helmet is white but I'm always behind everyone on group rides so no one will ever see it.

Tip for when you replace them...

Getting the tab on the replacement part into the slot in the plastic piece inside the helmet is a royal PITA.

It will go together only after you stop caring if the helmet survives the process. You are doing it right when it feels like you are going to break everything.

Yeah, and then bend it until it feels like it is going to break and push the tab into the slot as hard as you can.

You'll see what I mean.

The rest of a 60s Huffy project (minus a wheel, handlebars and a seat it's all that was for sale in that lot), to be given away in the end.

Two 1950s Rollfast racks, two Rollfast badges.

What is it, a helmet strap, some alien form of glasses?

Can you tell I don't wear a helmet and ride vintage and antique single speed cruisers?

How is this working for you? I have the older one (2 watt? 50 lumens?) But need another for rides and another commuter bike.
I was reading on Amazon that the new 150 lumen one has a crappy clip - how is the clip on the 100?

also, do you think the 100 is enough for daytime running or should I spring for the 150?
