I have 2 WCS stems with this faceplate. Never had an issue with cracking or the bars moving. Like 50voldphantom, they have both seen some sh and there hasn't been even a budge.

I had a $10/$50 coupon at a LBS, that a co-worker gave me knowing I rode bikes.

Picked up Bontrager Ion 100 R/Flare R City Light Set:

https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/e...olorCode=black

And another pair of gloves to throw into the rotation.

Trying to make my cockpit a little more compact than it has been.

Picked up a 80mm Felt stem at the LBS and just ordered these from Ribble. 38cm and 125mm drop and can't complain at the price tag of $15!

Also order this from the LBS as well. I am replacing a lower model Lazer under warranty and they are being nice enough to let me pay the difference and upgrade to the O2

Link removed, bright orange Cinelli bar plugs swapped for black ones, orange Wolf Tooth spacer, seat is 1/4" higher. Loaner stem because the Ritchey faceplate I ordered is lost in USPS-land (Argh!). Strap-on bottle cage because I was in a hurry this morning. Will be borrowing my wife's Elite Cannibal cages for a 60 mile gravel/singletrack race this weekend.

I know it's 99% in my head, but it looks stronger and more nimble now. Enjoy the race.

The gels are going to last a while. I only take them on very long rides, especially gravel rides in the mountains, when I know I'll be on the bike for 6+ hours. I drink coffee so the caffeine hit is a bonus when there is no coffee available.

The blocks are good and I need to stop eating the waffles.

Everything was on sale at Performance.

You should try the Toasted Marshmallow GU, it is amazing!! I could probably eat a whole box in 1 sitting. lol It is the only flavor I have had that matches the consistency of the gel.

Also, if you are a GU fan, the Roctane GU has more BCAA's which help with endurance and recovery.

The closest box of GU gel I managed to finish was the salted watermelon. I'm currently willing to entertain an attempt at finishing a box of their newer tutti frutti or cola flavors.

I've actually tried the toasted marshmellow one, it's not bad but I found it kind of a novelty like limited edition Oreo's. I didn't really enjoy it save for the "Oh, that tastes about right" moment at first.

Truth be told, the only "energy" I've truly enjoyed were Jelly Belly's sport beans after a buddy joined the team and gave me a case he snagged from the team support vehicle.

Some people will eat three or four gels in a 50 mile ride. One local said his dentist told him to stop.

I really can't stand the gels but they work well when I'm tired toward the end of really long rides.

I started using NUUN and Gu tabs too. They are very convenient.

This is the main reason I don't eat them. I'm already super prone to cavities, so it would just be asking for trouble.

I bought the other four another bike to live with. Some assembly required. The fork is only backwards because the handlebars aren't installed yet.

Yep. It's my dad. The greed, selfishness, and emotional cruelty to my Mom causes me epic resentment. It's scary how similar the behaviors are to drug and alcohol addiction.
