Maybe you should know what you're talking about. My bike indeed has a "plug" of polymer resin, however the outside is painted in enamel and covered in a clear coat. And since I'd never sell this bike to a hipster, the only folks who would buy it are my track friends, and drilling out the bullseye leaves a chipped and unsightly hole and thus a 100€ discount. Crazy as that sounds I know exactly what I'm talking about.
