I hope the OP is an angsty teen who's been riding for less than 3 months. There is no other excuse for this sort of behavior.

Pot calling the kettle black.

If the plug is taken out of the fork of the Vigorelli, can it be replaced? Just wondering.

It can be replaced. In France they plug it with Boudin Noir.

Maybe you should know what you're talking about. My bike indeed has a "plug" of polymer resin, however the outside is painted in enamel and covered in a clear coat. And since I'd never sell this bike to a hipster, the only folks who would buy it are my track friends, and drilling out the bullseye leaves a chipped and unsightly hole and thus a 100€ discount. Crazy as that sounds I know exactly what I'm talking about.

Who gives a crap? It's an $800 bicycle frameset mass-produced in China, not a vintage Colnago Pista. If your so-called "track friends" would care so much, they just might be "hipsters" themselves...

But you have fun being an angry know-it-all American and cruising around on those fantastic concrete rivers, brah.

None of my posts here imply "anger" in any way and the only people threatened by knowledge are imbeciles.

This guy. Do French mothers not hug their children?

Does my being sensible and correct put your beret in a bunch? You can flex as hard as you want behind your clavier but as someone who does a ton of direct business with EAI, I maintain the fact that they do not make a stamped alloy cog.

Since the OP took his toys and went home, it's time to close the thread.
