If you have to ask, it probably isn't.

You have to have 120 dropouts. Anything wider and it's a tart. If it only wants to turn left, it's track specific :)

Sixty Fiver 02-18-14 01:39 AM

One car I would love to own... Saab 99 turbo.

Why hate on the gt-r?

Mazda will get some love once I leave Japan in a few months, really needs coilovers and wider wheels. You can buy it if you want ;) I want a FRS

R33 because it's ugly to me, I don't mind R32s and R34s that are 4 doors, and the whole fast and furious movies kinda killed the "ooh" factor. But bring a C110 or C10, then I get excited. I don't really hate cars, because if I see a nice enough one I usually appreciate all the effort the owner put into it. Oh, I don't like S14s either, I think they are plain and pluh. But most people discard my opinion haha

Seeing an r34 in the states or a nice s14 is totally different. It's understandable that you're burnt out on them, being in tokyo, they're just not special anymore. If I saw them daily, they wouldn't do anything for me either.

Yup yup, I'm actually heading out to the Baltimore area in July, hows it out there?

I actually haven't been to Baltimore before, I've been to Maryland though.
From what I've seen/heard it can be pretty sketchy. They have a sick sportbike scene up there though.

My wife and I are predictably boring suburbanites. We have four Hondas. The most versatile is my wife's 2000 Odyssey van. Tons of room for anything, including three bikes on the inside and four on the hitch rack.

Loved our 1985 RX-7. My wife flipped and totaled it, and walked away.

Don't like the Toyota Prius. At all. Also, don't appreciate the sniveling, pants-wetting, eco-drones who drive them... Did I just say that?

rms13 02-18-14 01:23 PM

2007 Nissan Xterra. 15-17 mpg...sucks. I commute to work on the fixie and ride my bike as much as possible for anything local. I would love to sell the truck and go 100% car free but the wife is not cool with that idea

I had a chicken on my head before it was cool.

What do you mean it's not cool?

My last Nissan Sentra (1989 hatchback) went over 1,100,000 km and would push 50mpg on the highway... mind you it had 30 less hp than my sedan and only sat 4.

Brings to mind the early Honda CRX... the 1.3 litres models could approach 70mpg and the bigger 1.6 still saw mileage in the 40's and at 1700 pounds they still had a good power to weight ratio.

Most of these I see are completely murdered out and would love to find a stock model.

This one will probably not make it to market, but the idea is cool, even if it is only vaporware. 84 mpg and less than seven grand.
