Mark V tire clearance
Hey all -
I'm looking to pick up a new bike to be my commuter, and since you all seem to say nothing but good words about IRO, I was interested in the Mark V . However, since I'm in the pothole/snow belt, I would like the ability to put on some thicker tires sometimes. I know I could just wait for the Rob Roys to come out as well. But I'm also impatient :D What size tires can you sucessfully run on the Mark? |
If I remember correctly the Mark V can fit 28mm tires.

Pics of my new rig will be up soon. |
I am running Ritchey Speed Max Cross 700 x 30 with a little room to spare.

Huh. All the way up to 30s, eh? Thanks everyone. I'm torn between waiting for the Rob's, or picking up a Mark V.

Tony The MARK V is all but done and went together without a hitch. Many admirers. This one is a demo that I will ride. However, Like many various bikes I have built as a demo or Jude bike, I often have people make me an offer for the one that is all done. I say, you know its a demo, they say how much, then it's gone. I lost 3 steeds last year that way. It is a pleasure doing business with you and hope to do more. Wheel Doctor Jude |
So youre saying I cant fit my beach cruiser tires on my 700 rims and MARK V frame?
