Infrared photography. Easy enough to do with film (just buy IR film), but requires expensive and delicate modifications to your camera to do digitally.

Okay she done. Went for a great ride today and here are some pics. I love that I'm able to combine my two favorite pastimes disc golf and riding this sweet cycle.

Great looking bike! Love the attention and work you put into it. I long for a chrome road bike.
On a serious note, as a C&V person, I resent the generalization. Not all people who appreciate old bikes will balk at converting an old bike into a fixed gear bike. The most consistent piece of advice I've read on that forum is "it's your bike, ride it how you like". Yea there's boundaries to what's in good taste, and yes there's grumpy curmudgeons, but overall we're all here because we love building and riding bikes. Awesome conversion once again, and disc golf rocks. I see you're in Chi-burbs, I'm in the city, if you're ever around the west side, PM me if you wanna ride or dork out about bikes. |
One beautiful build!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vintage CHROME 1980 Schwinn Voyageur 11.8 Road Bike 23" I thought about buying it, but I like my cheap-o with the ding :) |
nice to see a well thought out steel conversion amidst a sea of aluminum in these parts. :thumb:

Wow, very tasteful! I'm on the hunt for a chrome-framed Schwinn and it'd be mighty tempting to copy your build, more or less. Chrome + brown/tan theme certainly works!
