Saddleco Flow saddle

Anyone tried one of these? I caught a glimpse on this sweet ride, and I'm curious.

It's made out of mesh so all your naughty bits don't get crushed.
BTW, that bike is sweet!

it kinda seems like the aeron chair of saddles.

really tho
i've been thinking about picking up the CroMo version
its on sale from their site for $99

i think its worth it
but do you?

baxtefer 06-27-05 05:36 PM

i wouldn't want to ride that in the rain without fenders.

Ok, so a little update on the saddles. I tried one on a customer's bike (shh!) at the LBS which I work at, and uggh, those seats are uncomfortable. Wicked light though. Too wide at the rear, the nose is too slim so there isn't any support for, well, you know..but this is just with my ass though, evidently the guy who owns the bike really loves it..I guess the saddle would be really cool on hot days though...

but has anyone ridden one? Looks like it would wear your pants seat right down to the dirty bits..

is it soft mesh, as in, no support/sinking down to your soft parts? i like the "aeron" theory but I wonder if it would work as well on such a small area. (for that matter, i found aerons uncomfortable too...i'd rather sit on a bicycle any day.)

Shoot, I wouldn't want to ride anything in the rain without fenders. the Flow wouldn't collect rainwater at least.

Now i'm curious...

edit: hey tink27, they offer a 30day guarantee.
